For its first concert of the 2024-2025 season, the St. Lawrence Choir presents a selection of festive works inspired by the warmth and joy of South America. At the heart of the program is Bobbi Fischer's Magnificat, carried by the contagious energy of Cuban salsa and rich Afro-Caribbean cadences. Accompanied by an instrumental section of seasoned musicians, the choir will also perform traditional Caribbean carols, announcing the Good News in an angelic atmosphere.
